The new Bayside Farmers’ Market
Third Sunday of the month
Where?
The market is help just off Hampton street, (Willis Lane) behind Woolworths, in the car park.
The market is within 200m of Hampton railway station and is surrounded by car parks.
Our last market (June) saw 1,400 shoppers
Reach?
There are 5,000 people living within 500 metres of the market.
No duplicate stalls
We’re keen to not have duplicate products or traders in each category, making it a better experience for both our traders and our shoppers.
We’ll be taking the best of the best and we’re also happy to offer casual placements on an ad hoc basis or pop you into the system if a long term place becomes available as we expand the size of the market.
Market Focus
The market is more than 80% food-based with an emphasis on Victorian produce.
Size
We have limited space so have capped our capacity at 40 stalls.
Timing
8:00AM to 1:00PM

We can provide electricity but do need to know ahead of time so that we can place you appropriately.
Please take all of your waste with you and do not pour anything away except for clean water.
The market is plastic bag and drinking straw free.
If we have to cancel the market (extreme weather/pandemic etc) we will notify you as soon as we can by text.

Trees are not to have anything tied or affixed to any part of the tree.
Balloons and polystyrene foam must not be used.
We require stallholders to commit to the market (and make payment) by close of business on the Monday before the market.
This is to give us time to make any changes to the layout and/or find an alternative stall if a producer cannot attend.

The market has been setup and is being managed by the Rotary Club of Sandringham. There is no third party management company involved.
Everyone you see, will be a volunteer that has given up part of their day.

It’s a new market and there are bound to be things we could do better, so we’d love to hear from you.
