Set up time will be from 6.30am onwards.
The market will be open to the public from 8.00am to 1.00pm.
The site emptied by 2.00pm
There will be 28 to 30 stall holders.
There will be some stallholders with generators, but we will ensure they are away from residences.
The main carpark will be allocated to the market, but there is still parking in the railway station carpark and in the carpark with the toilets behind the Bank of Queensland. There is also on street parking in surrounding streets.
We will be putting signage in the carpark on the Saturday afternoon before the market, advising that the car park will be closed and that it will be difficult to remove any cars left in the market area overnight.
No. Willis lane will be open as normal.
Local traders will benefit from people travelling to the market and spending time there and on Hampton Street.
Stallholders who have been “doing it tough” in COVID-19 will benefit from revenue and exposure.
The market is a managed by the Rotary Club of Sandringham, a community organisation.
